What Plotwright is
A tool for a popular block-building game. Your child describes a build, optionally tells us where it goes in their world, and we make a schematic file and a 3D preview. We have no chat with other users, no public profiles and no ads.
Age rules
- Under 13: not allowed. We don't make accounts for children under 13, and nothing is stored if they say so at sign-up.
- 13 to 17: allowed with your agreement. At sign-up your teen ticks a box saying you agree and will make any purchases.
- Sharing: adults can make a private link to show a build to friends. Accounts for 13 to 17 year olds cannot make share links, so nothing your teen makes is shown to other people by us.
Spending
Credits are prepaid. Nothing is charged automatically and there is no subscription. If your teen is under 18, please make or approve any purchase yourself. Credits are non-refundable once used, and failed builds are refunded automatically. Questions about a purchase: see the contact in the Terms.
Their data
- We keep an email, an age band, their projects and uploads. No name, phone or address.
- Screenshots are deleted after 30 days. We advise hiding chat and usernames (press F1) first.
- Text and screenshots are sent to an AI provider to make the build.
- They can download or delete everything from the Account page, or you can ask us to.
Pasting safely
A schematic can overwrite things in a world. Our safe-paste guide explains how to avoid it. Making a backup first is the best habit.
